Shift into Higher Consciousness

KNOW THAT EVERY CONSCIOUS BEING
ON AND WITHIN MOTHER EARTH,
INCLUDING MOTHER EARTH, HAS CREATED ~
THIS AWAKENING,
THIS SHIFT INTO A HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS
WHERE THE OLD WAYS CAN NO LONGER EXIST

Be aware that you as a spiritual being
helped create the conditions that are resulting
in a change into a higher consciousness
and faster vibration of our whole world.
Like most changes,
many feel like they are being forced upon us
before we are ready or motivated to change.
This is no different.
Take responsibility,.... smile and flow with these changes.
Our third DNA strand is now forming in most of us
and the veil between conscious awareness levels
is dissolving.
Many things that you could once eat and drink
will no longer feel or taste good to you.
As every cell in your body changes,
there may be unusual aches and pains.
Old habits and attitudes that don't fit in this new vibration
must drop away or they will be ripped away
from those who will ascend.
Love is the only thing that will remain.
Anything that is not of love will pass away
or shift into another space and time
where that soul will continue its third dimensional lessons.

OPEN YOUR HEART TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY
AND, WITH INTENT, KEEP IT OPEN

Practice opening your heart with children,
plants and animals, then graduate to adults.
Do this until you finally feel that your heart is fully open
Fear, anger, intimidation and many other feelings
will occasionally close your heart again.
Be aware of this and open it up in a loving and trusting way
as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.

LEARN TO TRUST YOUR GUT FEELINGS
YOUR INNER KNOWINGNESS,
FOR IT WILL SAVE YOU
WHEN OTHERS ARE LED ASTRAY

This must become as easy as breathing.
The age of innocence is over.
Self-responsibility is an absolute necessity
Practice by asking where the best parking place
is then add things every day until you are guided 24/7
by your inner knowingness.

SHOW GRATITUDE AND BLESS
YOUR FOOD AND WATER
WITH THE INTENT THAT IT WILL ALWAYS HEAL
AND NOURISH YOU
NEVER HARM YOU

It is always important to express gratitude
to everything and everyone for everything.
Water is conscious and until the time that Mother Earth
is completely healed again,
blessing all that you eat and drink
with the intent that it will never harm you
and that your body will benefit from it
in some way may save your life.
I hold my hands over the food and/or water
then say the following statement:
"I thank all who were a part of bringing
this wonderful meal to me
and I now bring it to our
(all of my cells and me as soul) vibration."
Anything that is of your vibration cannot hurt you.

WORK TO HEAL MOTHER EARTH
FIRST THE WATER AND AIR,
THEN THE REST OF HER BODY

Water is conscious and our bodies are 78% water
. Speak to all water and bless it.
Say, "Good life."
Ask it what you can do to help all waters heal.
Bless every breath you take
- automatically of course, with your intent -
and actively daydream of a time
when Mother Earth is totally healed again.

DEEP BREATHE OFTEN,
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU FEEL UNBALANCED
OR IN FEAR. REMEMBER,
FEAR IS FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL
With so many changes happening
it will be easy to fall into fear
and become spiritually unbalanced.
A great technique is to control your breathing
by counting to five while inhaling,
holding that breath for the same count of five,
exhaling for a count of five,
then holding that exhale for five.
When the five count becomes easy and relaxed,
change to a six count, then seven and so on
until you reach a ten count for each stage.
This will also help you get to sleep easier
and to relax to a meditative state without much mind activity.

All Life Depends on the Oceans

~ David Suzuki and Faisal Moola, of the David Suzki Foundation

It's often said that we know as much about Mars and the moon as we do about our oceans. Considering that Earth is 71 per cent ocean, this should be cause for concern. At the very least, we should be doing more to protect our oceans from the negative effects of human activities, even if we don't fully understand all that is happening under the seas.

One thing we do know is that oceans are changing - and the changes aren't for the best. For centuries, we've thought of our oceans as stable. But ocean currents, upwellings, oxygen levels, acidity, and temperature are changing in ways we haven't seen before. Assumptions we once held about the seas are no longer valid.

We've always assumed that oceans would provide us with an endless bounty of food. We rely on our oceans for transportation,.... recreation, and numerous resources. And oceans provide almost half the oxygen we breathe.

The collapse of Canada's Atlantic cod stocks was just one of many warnings we should have heeded. Many West Coast salmon stocks have also disappeared and many are returning in increasingly lower numbers. Even the survival of the very base of the marine food chain, plankton, is being threatened.

Some threats to our oceans are easier to pinpoint than others. Swirling masses of plastic garbage in the oceans - one of them in the North Pacific estimated to be bigger than Quebec - are obvious artifacts of our disposable societies. "Dead zones" are showing up in our oceans around the globe. These are areas where oceans are starved of oxygen because of a nitrogen overdose from agricultural runoff.

Many fish stocks are dwindling, in part because of our appetite for seafood. This is spurring more development in aquaculture - but most fish-farming practices are putting added pressure on oceans and wild fish.

On top of the many direct threats to ocean health we also have climate change to contend with. We know that global warming is causing the oceans to become more acidic. This is a worrisome trend.

As with our atmosphere, too much carbon is resulting in dangerous effects. Carbon dioxide is necessary for photosynthesis,.... which is how plants grow and develop. But when we burn fossil fuels or clear-cut forests, we release too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, upsetting the balance. This creates a heat-trapping blanket around the Earth, which contributes to global warming.

The oceans absorb carbon dioxide, keeping some of it from the atmosphere. But while oceans help slow the pace of global warming, they too are absorbing too much carbon dioxide, resulting in disruption of the ocean's pH balance. This increasing acidity causes calcium carbonate to dissolve, affecting life forms including corals, shellfish, and several species of plankton that rely on calcium for their very structure.

Science is confirming that our old assumptions are no longer valid, and we find ourselves in a situation of escalating risk. As a result, we need to look at our oceans in an entirely new way. We can't continue to exploit ocean resources on false assumptions. We need to know more about what's going on. That means investing in science that will help explain the interactions between changing ocean conditions and the species that depend on the seas.

We need a new way to manage our oceans in the face of uncertainty and elevated risk facing marine life. A comprehensive marine-....planning initiative that considers new and evolving science and the evidence of what is actually happening to marine ecosystems would be a good start. This process must be based on a precautionary approach that recognizes increased uncertainty and the fact that our oceans will continue to change as global warming and other human-induced factors continue to affect them.

We can't rely on governments alone to protect the health of our oceans. Industry, nongovernmental.... organizations, First Nations, coastal communities, and governments at all levels must come together to plan and monitor conservation efforts based on science and local community knowledge.

After all, one thing we've learned about Mars and the moon is that we can't move there if we destroy our home on this beautiful and generous planet - in part because they don't have oceans. Neglecting the health of our oceans, where all known life began, is a risk we cannot afford to take.

Star Elders: Into the Light of a New Day

by Aluna Joy

Cosmic events have been and are continuing to accelerate following the solstice turning point in June. This acceleration is now being amplified as you navigate a trinity of eclipses (July 7, July 21-22 and August 5-6). These 3 eclipses represent the past, present, and the future. These eclipses are an energetic manifestation of the butterfly; also what you might call a merkabah. This sacred time is filled with the light of divine perfection. Anything that is in opposition of perfection will be brought back into the light. The first eclipse (history/past) and the last eclipse (future) are the wings of a butterfly, or the place where you can see that the merkabah is revolving. The middle eclipse point is the body of the butterfly, or what you might call the Great Stillness or Source. But there is nothing still about it!

(July 7: Penumbral eclipse of the Moon. This eclipse will be fully visible from western and central parts of North America as well as Alaska and Hawaii. The Moon enters penumbra at 1:33 A.M. PDT and leaves penumbra at 3:44 A.M. PDT. The eclipse will be visible from the East Coast as the Moon sets. July 21-22: Total eclipse of the Sun. This eclipse will not be visible from North America. However, a very small partial eclipse of the Sun will be visible from Hawaii on July 21 at around 5:49 P.M. HAST. (The total eclipse will be visible from India and China. The maximum duration of totality will be 6.7 minutes, making this the longest total eclipse that will occur in the 21st century.) August 5: Penumbral eclipse of the Moon. This eclipse will be observable from eastern and central North America during moonrise. The Moon enters penumbra at 7:01 P.M. EDT and leaves it at 10:17 P.M. EDT.)

PS.. Maya Astrology shows that July 22nd is 13 AHAU! This is the culmination of the entire 260 day cycle we have been in. It is the most potent day of the sacred calendar. It is the anchoring of the highest vision! The Kiche calendar shows us that it is 4 E. This is the day we will begin a new path, a new journey. This will take place in a balanced way using the 4 elements, earth, wind water and fire! Remember to stay grounded. Get out in nature. Drink lots of water. Take your Sacred Site Essences... Be Grateful. Be Thankful… and just BE!

What we are most intrigued with is how you evolve during the center part of this eclipse in this trinity. While in the center, there will be a profound, almost eerie stillness. This will be a center point of which all things are connected into the one. It is the center of the butterfly or merkabah. You may not see any evidence in your outer world that anything is going on. But we assure you that it is. When you look deep inside, you are aware that something is going on, and it is big. Underground you are building an elaborate root system . . . a solid foundation from which the new world will burst forth into the light of a new day.

You are heading toward the center of the trinity as we transmit this message. Because you are moving into a reality that is present in a NOW state of consciousness, you are already starting to feel its strange stillness. Many of you might feel like you are stuck. Nothing seems to be moving forward. But this is an illusion based in the perceptions of your past experience. We assure you that there is a lot going on. This can be exhausting. You may find you need to take naps. You will need to sleep a lot. While you sleep, use this time to dream of a beautiful world. Imagine all beings living in harmony . . . with great health and unlimited abundance.

Many of you find that all the distractions in the world are far less attractive then they used to be. In fact, you might find that your quite bored with the goings-on in your current reality. Your boredom is simply a symptom of your spirit ready to let go of all things unnecessary. It is important even though you feel stalled to continue to move. Do something. Build something. Share something. Just keep moving. It is vitally important that you keep moving and keep creating.

As you keep moving and creating, you will begin to discover that the way you manifest is also shifting. Elaborate plans for creating something in the future are more difficult to fulfill. Planning is a state of consciousness that lies in the future. The future is not in the NOW; therefore planning will become difficult. Remember, you are entering a state of oneness, and a completely present NOW. You are learning that intentions will manifest easily if they are done with an impulse or with inspired intuition. It will be more difficult to manifest with a mind. It will be easier to manifest with the heart. Bold gestures are going to become the norm! Expect that any plans you have made will morph and change out in front if you.

The absolute success of your future is being built as we speak. This is very demanding, yet the most exciting part of building a new world. New roots are growing in the background, and you are being planted firmly in the next dimension. Growing a hearty root system is vitally important. Remember roots grow in the dark. The soil in which you are planting your roots has been very well-prepared and is incredibly fertile due to your hard and diligent work. This will ensure the success of the divine plan . . . what the ancients called the Golden Age. The stronger the root system, the more brilliant the new world will be. Be patient, and let your roots grow. Allow ample time for the foundation for the new world to be built. Soon you will burst forth into the light of a new day, a new world, like a perfect flower reaching for the Sun.

Remember you are not alone in this process. There are millions of awakened beings in all walks of life, all across the earth, that will help morph this world into the vision of a new world which we all hold close to your hearts. You may not know who these lighted ones are, but we assure you they are in place, and ready to take action.

God turns you from one feeling to another
and teaches by means of opposites,
so that you have two wings to fly, not one.

We Are the World

At any given moment,

depending on our frame of mind,

we are either adding

to the Light of the World

or adding to the shadows.

Every single thing we do

affects the whole...

Every thought, word,

action, or feeling

we have

changes the dynamics

of the whole Universe.

How is that

for an awesome responsibility?

Twelve Keys of Spiritual Activism

1. All Action MUST be Based on Compassion

When championing a Cause, the mindset must be altruistic and the motivating emotion must be positive. Spiritual Activism is action for the benefit of something, not against something.

"When you have a pro-peace rally, I will be there."
~ Mother Theresa's response to a question about why she did not attend an anti-war rally.

2. Compassion Flows from the Understanding of the Connection Between All Living Beings

We are all connected through our shared Humanity. When you learn to see that our differences are superficial and our similarities manifest, sympathy (or worse, pity) gives way to compassion. Our actions shift from one of "us helping them" to one of "for the good of All". We become One.

"The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the interdependence of all these living beings, which are all part of one another, and all involved in one another."
~ Thomas Merton

3. Compassion Must Be Applied With Wisdom

There are more Causes that exist than an individual or group can possibly be involved with. It is important to choose your causes carefully. Learn to Act instead of React.

"That is true wisdom, to know how to alter one's mind when occasion demands it."
~ Terence

4. Apply Synergy and Teamwork to Accomplish Goals

Synergy is the process where two or more actions combine to produce an effect greater than the sum of its individual parts. Like ripples in a pond, spiritual actions combine and build on each other to magnify an effect beyond what each could do individually. Whenever possible, team up with others to acquire a multifaceted and more holistic approach.

"The whole is greater than the sum of the parts."
~ Unknown

5. Spiritual Activism is the Pursuit of Service for the Good of All, Not for the Advancement or Benefit of Individuals or Selected Communities

The mindset behind your actions must be noble, holistic, Universal and non-partisan. Be mindful that ego and self-service have no place in Spiritual Activism.

"Common folk, not statesmen, nor generals nor great men of affairs, but just simple plain men and women, can do something to build a better, peaceful world. The future hope of peace lies with such personal service."
~ Henry Cadbury

"Reverence for Life affords me my fundamental principle of morality, namely, that good consists in maintaining, assisting, and enhancing life and that to destroy, harm, or to hinder life is evil. Affirmation of the world -- that is affirmation of the will to live, which appears in phenomenal forms all around me -- is only possible for me in that I give myself out for other life."
~ Albert Schweitzer

6. Pursue Integrity, Honesty and Dignity in the Conduct of Your Actions

Embrace Mindfulness in the application of your activities and be aware of how your actions may be perceived by others. Machiavelli's "The ends justify the means" has no place in Spiritual Activism. If our methods are not noble, our results will not be either. Practice Spiritual Transparency, allowing negative energies to bypass your system without harming it.

"Integrity is doing the right thing even if no one is watching."
~ Unknown

7. Do not Defame Your Detractors or Those Who Doubt You

A confrontational approach leads to a defensive reaction. Approach others with Openness and Compassion in your heart. Build on the commonalities between you instead of focusing on the differences. As much as possible, detach yourself from the results of your actions. Aspire to always be a Peacemaker.

"Honest differences are often a healthy sign of progress."
~ Mahatma Gandhi

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
~ Mahatma Gandhi

8. Raising Another Up Raises You Up As Well

Helping another becomes a form of self-love as well as an expression of outward love. This becomes an upwardly spiraling cycle of increasing awareness, connection, compassion, involvement, capacity, and back to increasing awareness.

"Oh, Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned."
~Saint Francis Prayer

"Compassionate action involves working with ourselves as much as working with others."
~ Pema Chodron

9. Learn to Listen to Your Heart and Not Your Mind

You mind may only see the problem. Your heart will always feel the solution. Learn to act with Faith and cultivate a loving perception when facing collective problems.

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

10. Search Out Viable and Sustainable Solutions

Seek out solutions that maintain or restores the dignity of individual human and their communities. The goal of Spiritual Activism is to raise another up, not make them dependant.

"Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime."
~ Jesus

"We have not inherited the world from our forefathers. We have borrowed it from our children."
~ Kashmiri proverb

11. Do Not Judge Yourself Simply By The Results Of Your Actions

Maintain a sense of detachment as to overall results. Embrace mindfulness as you intentionally diminish a judging attitude while keeping watchfulness on the gates of your heart. The ultimate goal of Spiritual Activism is to unconditionally raise the understanding and support of Humanity, with no exceptions. This achievement is larger than any individual. While individual projects can be completed, the sum is so much greater than its parts. Learn to see yourself not on where you have reached, but on the Path you are traveling. There is real fulfillment in just being called to serve humanitarian and spiritual causes.

"Every man stamps his value on himself. Man is made great or small by his own will."
~ JCF von Schiller

" The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers."
~ Thich Nhat Hanh

12. Let Metta Be The Motivation For Your Actions

If you cultivate Metta (the practice of loving-kindness) in your heart, you will succeed. The Intention that is the motivating force behind your actions is paramount. Start from a position of pure and altruistic Love.

"A positive future cannot emerge from the mind of anger of despair"
~ Dalai Lama

"Kindness in giving creates Love."
~ Lao Tzu

July 7th Lunar Eclipse - Earth Grid Building

Program Description

The Crystalline Grid is powerfully reactivating as part of the New Earth template.

This planetary grid is our new foundation and a spiritual “telecommunications system” to help us connect and remain connected to the higher consciousness of humans all over the world.

By consciously aligning with and connecting to the Crystalline Grid on a regular basis, we strengthen our ability to receive and transmit higher dimensional energies as one synergistic beam of Love and transforming energy.

Children of the Sun is putting out the call to people around the world to join this influential matrix and expanding force field of light.

This is a massive support system during this period of increased intensity in the Earth’s restructuring process.

One of the main uses of this highly advanced crystalline structure is to bring stabilization and balance to our and the Earth’s processes.

It also profoundly assists us in developing skills of higher consciousness.

This includes the higher sense perceptions, energy transferences, receiving and decoding the languages of light, multidimensional communications, to name a few.

These are very important skills for the now times. ..

The Transmissions

The grid transmissions take place every new and full moon, solstice and equinox. These regular transmissions shower amplified infusions of light to assist in our personal transformation and as that is divinely aligned. As a force field, this amplified field supports each of us in releasing the old and embodying the new. We unite and link our collective light in a purified, highly tuned geometric field. This unified geometric field is also know as Group Merkaba.

Important to Build the Grid Networks

Serving as crystalline human portals and an extension of this powerful network, we each receive and transmit these New Earth energies to and from our intimate sphere of influence and the geographic locations in which we live.

It is very important that we focus on building our own networks of light on this grid matrix.

This is to help your friends, family and those closest to you.

As we are all linked, what occurs in our field also affects those in our intimate sphere.

The networks also empower and expand the matrix into greater fields of mass unification.

With aligned intent, we can accelerate transformation into specific areas of the world especially those affected by the planetary shift.

In these times of tremendous change, we are assured of this unified forcefield and giant support system to be in place, every new and full moon without fail.

Everyone is inspired to build their own networks of light.

We are also calling forth participation from people who anchor light energy at sacred sites and specific geographical areas of strong crystalline energy.

These are the “central power stations” of the grid across the globe.

These places of centralized power hold a high concentrated level of crystalline energy, purified frequencies and are the massive energy fields used to support this grid matrix.

Human representatives from these areas help to optimize the transmission process.

How it Works
The transmissions will occur over a full 24 hour period on each day of the new and full moon.
Unified Meditation/Ceremony occurs during 3 world times:
....
Paris, France 8 p.m.
Sydney, Australia 8 p.m.
New York, USA 9 p.m.

During this day, you may choose to go into meditation, connect to the grid and simply receive. If you have built a network or desire to assist with the unified planetary focus, you can also serve as a crystalline human portal in both receiving and transmitting.

Refrigeration Without Electricity

Mohammed Bah Abba made a really cool invention, which won a Rolex Award of $100,000 –a refrigerator than runs without electricity. Here's how it works. You take a smaller pot and put it inside a larger pot. Fill the space in between them with wet sand, and cover the top with a wet cloth. When the water evaporates, it pulls the heat out with it, making the inside cold. It's a natural, cheap, easy-to-make refrigerator.

Evaporative fridges are a relatively well-tested, proven, low-tech approach to cooling. They can cool produce, food and beverages at about 15-20 C below ambient temperatures. They are most appropriate in hot, dry (not humid) climates

The Wisdom of Sharing - Stone Soup

There are many variations on the story of stone soup, but they all involve a traveler coming into a town beset by famine. The inhabitants try to discourage the traveler from staying, fearing he wants them to give him food. They tell him in no uncertain terms that there’s no food anywhere to be found. The traveler explains that he doesn’t need any food and that, in fact, he was planning to make a soup to share with all of them. The villagers watch suspiciously as he builds a fire and fills a cauldron with water. With great ceremony, he pulls a stone from a bag, dropping the stone into the pot of water. He sniffs the brew extravagantly and exclaims how delicious stone soup is. As the villagers begin to show interest, he mentions how good the soup would be with just a little cabbage in it. A villager brings out a cabbage to share. This episode repeats itself until the soup has cabbage, carrots, onions, and beets—indeed, a substantial soup that feeds everyone in the village.
This story addresses the human tendency to hoard in times of deprivation. When resources are scarce, we pull back and put all of our energy into self-preservation. We isolate ourselves and shut out others. As the story of stone soup reveals, in doing so, we often deprive ourselves and everyone else of a feast. This metaphor plays out beyond the realm of food. We hoard ideas, love, and energy, thinking we will be richer if we keep to them to ourselves, when in truth we make the world, and ourselves, poorer whenever we greedily stockpile our reserves. The traveler was able to see that the villagers were holding back, and he had the genius to draw them out and inspire them to give, thus creating a spread that none of them could have created alone.

Are you like one of the villagers, holding back? If you come forward and share your gifts, you will inspire others to do the same. The reward is a banquet that can nourish many.

16 Year Old Discovers Microb That Eats Plastic

http://www.mnn.com/technology/research-innovations/blogs/boy-discovers-microbe-that-eats-plastic

Fri, Jun 12 2009 at 2:26 AM EST

It's not your average science fair when the 16-year-old winner manages to solve a global waste crisis. But such was the case at last month's May's Canadian Science Fair in Waterloo, Ontario, where Daniel Burd, a high school student at Waterloo Collegiate Institute, presented his research on microorganisms that can rapidly biodegrade plastic.

NOTE: there are TWO high school students who discovered plastic-consuming microorganisms. The first was Daniel Burd (last year). The second was Tseng I-Ching (last month), a high school student in Taiwan.

Daniel had a thought it seems even the most esteemed PhDs hadn't considered. Plastic, one of the most indestructible of manufactured materials, does in fact eventually decompose. It takes 1,000 years but decompose it does, which means there must be microorganisms out there to do the decomposing.

Could those microorganisms be bred to do the job faster?

That was Daniel's question which he put to the test by a very simple and clever process of immersing ground plastic in a yeast solution that encourages microbial growth, and then isolating the most productive organisms.

The preliminary results were encouraging, so he kept at it, selecting out the most effective strains and interbreeding them. After several weeks of tweaking and optimizing temperatures Burd was achieved a 43 % degradation of plastic in six weeks, an almost inconceivable accomplishment.

With 500 billion plastic bags manufactured each year and a Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch that grows more expansive by the day, a low cost and nontoxic method for degrading plastic is the stuff of environmentalists' dreams and, I would hazard a guess, a pretty good start-up company as well.

NOTE: to the comment below. Yes there are certainly methods for decomposing plastic, but most are chemical in nature not organic, requiring high temperatures and chemical additives to cause the plasticizers to vaporize, for instance this patent on PVC extraction. There have been several successful bacteria based solutions developed at the Dept. of Biotechnology in Tottori, Japan as well as the Dept. of Microbiology at the National University of Ireland, but both apply only to styrene compounds.

It goes without saying that these discoveries need to be tested to ensure, for instance, that the bi-products of organic decomposition are not carcinogenic (as in the case with mammalian metabolism of styrene and benzene). The processing of plastics by these methods would also have to be contained in highly controlled environments. So, no, we're not talking about a magic panacea or a plastic-free paradise, but the innovative application of microorganisms to break down our most troublesome waste products is nevertheless a major scientific breakthrough.

ANOTHER NOTE: one of our readers pointed out a very interesting study in 2004 at the University of Wisconsin that isolated a fungus capable of biodegrading phenol-formaldehyde polymers previously thought to be non-biodegradable. Phenol polymers are produced at an annual rate of 2.2 million metric tons per year in the United States for many industrial and commercial applications including durable plastics.

Unified Field of Consciousness

By Adrian Nelson

The results of the experiments we have reviewed build a new picture of the interplay between consciousness and the physical world. Together the experiments build a composite image that describes the attributes of field consciousness. Emerging is a new model of mind and matter, one that revolutionises our understanding of our place in this world and our degree of agency in shaping it. We have seen that consciousness can extend out or reach into physical and biological systems to effect change. We have witnessed in the experiments of Rupert Sheldrake, Cleve Backster, William Tiller and others, the subtle dance of interconnectivity that exists between all things. These discoveries and experiments indicate consciousness emerges from a deeper, fundamentally unified order of reality. The unified field is the universe. It is an ocean, not of matter, but probabilities of relationships; information. The unified field is the evolving origin of all the “laws” and forces of nature that govern life at every level. Because of this, it may also adequately be defined as intelligence.
Consciousness, surfaces through self-organising biological systems in increasing coherence as they evolve and graduate into greater complexity. These evolving systems exist in a constant state of feedback with the unified field that itself can be considered to be evolving.
Can the universe itself be viewed as analogous to a great evolving organism? Classical Darwinist theories of evolution state that all features of a biological system must perform some advantageous function to the organism. If this principle can be transferred to our analogy of a universal organism, consciousness itself may prove to perform some intrinsic function in the unfolding of the universe. The evidence of what is now a countless number of scientific, rigorously conducted psi experiments indicate that what we direct our attention and intention towards becomes more likely to manifest in the world. We can be confident that this at least is true.

But, we have been told by leading scientists that our universe is slowing down, gradually unravelling at the seams and descending into chaos. However when we look at the world and nature objectively, there is evidence everywhere that this is simply not the case. It is at this juncture that I offer a conceptual model that is in part intuitive yet alluded to by our interpretation of the research.
I postulate that the universe is evolving into greater states of complexity and coherence and that life and consciousness can be seen as latent within the underlying geometry of the unified field. This field evolves complex biological systems out of itself that through their physiology, emerges a measure of self awareness. An organism’s very inner subjectivity, whilst individualised as it rises through the filter of the body’s nervous system, is at its most discrete level, fundamentally one with the unified field.
This process, if it can be seen as serving a function to the universe itself, might be described as the universe observing itself. I will from this juncture call this the experiential function of the observer.
The experiential function serves to communicate or feedback with the evolving ground state. Organisms evolve an individualised consciousness or an impression of separation because the experiential function cannot take place at the undifferentiated ground state level. This theory assumes that some measure of the experiential function takes place at all levels of life down to the cellular level and possibly further. It also relies in a form of evolving memory existing behind nature which, as we have seen in the theories of Bohm and Sheldrake, seems to be the case.
As physicists have found as they attempt to measure quantum particles, their act of observation disturbs the particle from its original state. At this deeper level of reality, the subjective and objective are inseparable and the distinction between observer and the observed breaks down. Through their emergence from the unified field, the observer and the physical world exist on the same continuum like ripples and vortices upon the surface of the same body of water. The consciousness of the observer is therefore intrinsically entangled with its environment. This may be why experiments show that the direction of will or intention impacts a subtle change in behaviour of physical systems.

Tree Magic

By Don McLeod

The Curative Properties of Trees
Taking a walk through nature is not only refreshing and energising, it can also be a healing experience thanks to the energy of trees. In the early years of mankind, trees were regarded as special beings, no doubt because of their size and majesty. Apart from being the home of animals and birds, trees were also thought to embody a spirit, and people would leave offerings to the spiritual presence that resided in the tree. In India, most local shrines are constructed under trees. Shamans of Native American and Europe believed that trees also possess curative powers. Different trees are said to have particular medicinal properties. The following is a brief list of trees and the healing qualities they are said to contain...

Ash: Brings peace of mind. Warts rubbed on the bark will be absorbed into the tree.
Beech: Reduces swellings and skin inflammations. Helps to balance mental health.
Birch: The bark helps to heal wounds and burns.
Cedar: Cleanses negative atmospheres.
Oak: Brings vitality and long life.
Sassafras: Eases problems with the digestive system. Burying money near the roots of a Sassafras tree brings prosperity.
Pine: A renewal of energy can be obtained by sitting under a pine.
Willow: Adds vital energy to the elderly and the sick. Smoke created from burning the wood of a willow tree can soothe and guide the souls of the dead.

How to Find Your Own Healing Tree
Here is a small ritual for finding your own personal healing tree. Enter a quiet park or forest that has a variety of trees. Stand quietly amongst the trees and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths and release all thoughts from your mind. Then allow your consciousness to drop through your body, and to settle within your heart chakra. Now, with your eyes open, but unfocused, start walking through the trees. You should be able to feel the energy of each tree as you enter its aura. When you find an energy that feels right for you, mentally ask the tree for permission to physically make contact. If you then feel that it is all right to do so, approach the tree and place your back against it. Feel the energy of the tree resonating within you. Which one of your chakras does this tree seem to affect the most?

How to See a Tree's View of the World
You can also enhance your psychic perceptions of the world around you, by merging your consciousness with that of your healing tree. Allow your aura to merge with the tree's energy field, and with your eyes open, see the surroundings as if through the consciousness of the tree. A silvery glow will surround the area, and you will see the auras of other trees and plants. When you have finished this experiment, thank the tree for its participation, and move away from its energy field. Bring your consciousness up through your body and into your head, then take a few more deep breaths. Stamp your feet on the ground to bring yourself back to full conscious awareness.

Clearing Negativity with Trees
It is said that trees can also absorb negative energy from our bodies, without it doing the tree any harm. To clear yourself of negativity, find another tree that you are intuitively drawn to, and ask permission to give it the negative energy that you have unwittingly stored in your body. Trees can transform and use this energy for their own enhancement. To gather and release negativity from your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self, run the palm of your left hand from the top of your head, and down the right side of your body, visualising the collection of negativity into your hands. Do the same with your right hand on the left side of your body. Then rub your hands on the trunk of the tree, thereby releasing all the toxins that you have gathered. Also run your hands down the front and back of your body and pass this onto the tree as well. Do this three times, and when you are finished, thank the tree for taking the negative energy from you.

Trees are more than lumps of wood with leaves attached. Make the effort to walk through a national park or forest soon, and take visual notes of the variety that exists even within the same species of tree. By making the conscious effort to look closely at a tree trunk, you will be surprised at the myriad of patterns and colours that normally go unnoticed. Each tree has its own characteristics and personality. And by taking the time to attune to a few trees, you will be amazed at the different styles of energy that emanate from them. For your health's sake, hug a tree today!

Permaculture Principles at Work

Permaculture is about reducing waste: energy and materials, human and environmental. It is about thinking and observation. It aims to design and create systems that imitate nature, contain and digest any by products and turn the problems into solutions. No two systems will look the same as each is harmony with its natural surrounds, different climates and aspects and people needs.

Create Your Own Universe

‘You create your own universe as you go along. The stronger your imagination, the more variegated your universe. When you leave off dreaming, the universe ceases to exist.’
— Winston Churchill
